60'S MUSIC PAVILION

This pavilion design centered around 60's music, such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Velvet Underground, etc., and to further emphasize this theme, I incorporated the idea of a "listening party," by adding a secluded record playing area that allows the sound to travel up through the rest of the pavilion.

 

The overall design was inspired by retro and retro-futurism style with its organic, spherical, and elliptical shapes. One of the main focuses of the design revolved around circulation. People circulate from the ramp on the ground up and around to the top balcony.
